I wad thinking of buying a sinister fab upper mount for it.

Leafs. You need to cut all of that crap off anyways, so burn some perches on and go wheelin. Link it when you have an extra pile of cash laying around.

I agree with you. I was looking at it last night and I hate the way the coil mounts are. i want to wheel it this year so I'm cutting it all off and leafin' it. I will save up for a complete 3 link kit for the front and start over this winter. In the mean time I'm going to try and get the motor in and running.

Dana 300 27 spline input arrived yesterday (Father's Day gift from the wife), dropped the cylinder heads off to get freshened up, and the engine mounts should be here on the 29th per UPS estimate.

In the mean time I'm going to install the new cam, timing chain, and oil pump while I wait for the mounts to come. I also loaded up the 60 so I can cut all that crap off on my lunch hour today.

The used bead locks that I bought had a shark tooth design that I didn't like so I hacked the teeth off and repainted them.

Before:

After:

With a 38.5 half assed mounted

I'm doing a great job of buying a lot of cool parts, but not doing a good of finding time to assemble them
