Now for the start of the carnage. I think most every vehicle suffered some carnage, nothing major, just the usual; u-joints, shafts, tie-rods, a control arm, exhaust and a little bit of missing paint here and there.

Oops

find a big stick and straighten it out

still not much better

This thing (I think it was a tracker) was....at least fun to watch. These guys drove it hard, broke it, strapped it back together and beat on it again.

This pic was of their 2nd run. I missed the first run where they rolled it here. It took a group effort to get it back on it's wheels and off it went (with a little smoke)

This was a little low to go over this rock

peanutboozer

the Log Ride presented it's challenges

add a little bit of water

one of my favorite parts. Someone told the spotter that the front spring had come out and he looked at it, shrugged and then started pulling cable (as in, oh well, no big deal) then the driver got out to lock in the winch and saw it and went "Oh Sh*t, we gotta fix that". So, out came the hi-lift.

stupid tires

just because he put it back, didn't mean it was going to stay in for the rest of the race. Oh yeah, the shock broke too.

on to the rocks

cruiserjg being a team player and playing winch point. Jeremy helped pull several people out after they broke (this one wasn't broke, just needed a tug)

water...it was fun to watch people blast through this not know how deep it really was.

Tried a different line with the tires....same result...pulling cable

Great Pics!!! Seats did stay clean through the mud hole. However, I did take home enough gravel/dirt to cover the entire front floor an inch deep from another spot on the course after I went back to 3 wheel drive AGAIN.

I saw the course and chickened out because I drove down there. So I wheeled the other trails. After doing full tilt I met up with this guy and we decided to try the trails. This is a xj on 6" of lift and 33's (no swaybar disco's)

Well after 4 trips back and forth to the parking lot and 3 hrs we had it to the point where it would roll. and we creeped him out of there. He drove his down there also. Had a trailer come pick him up and he was good. Great guy member on here also. Hope he doesnt mind me posting the pics. Every body breaks at some time. After getting over the oh sh!t my tire fell off. He was a great sport and was like time to upgrade!

My poser shot:
