Short tracks have 48 lugs if I remember right.4x48=192

Looks like a 192 pattern,244 is about the limit.If you lake race alot,and want to win,you need ice picks.when i see that many studs in a trail sled I laugh,it's a waste of money.that many studs on a trail sled is stupid,it wont turn very well,and that track will be missing most the outside studs in one season,wrecking the track. Personally,i like 144,for stoping,and I put them all in the middle of the track,so they dont affect cornering,and rip out.

I grew up around sleds, every kid with one did that and eventually took them out when they learned being hard on the throttle gets expensive reaaal fast. if you look around you can pick up stud boy studs by the 10lb brick. they sell them that way for a reason.

Holy Cow. I always ran 96 in the center even on my F7 to keep rotating mass down. Also ditched the 1.375 track for a 1.0, and gained a couple mph. What I lost in traction I gained in track speed and sideways drifting fun.
