Default 92 yj

I bought this 92 YJ a few weeks ago. It has the stock 2.5L and 5spd, 190k miles, 33 x 12.50 all terrains, 4 inch springs, 1.5" shackles, locker in rear, 10k pound winch, rock sliders, homemade rear bumper...

The frame is solid but the body has a few small holes in the floor pans. The windshield frame is shot too. It has some minor surface rust on the tub but no holes. I bought it for $1700 cash.

I plan on doing some learn as i go body work. I also want to repaint the jeep probably dark blue with the top black and have the bumpers and sliders powdercoated black. I would like to do a motor swap eventually but havent decided what i want yet.

Im open to any ideas so let me know what you think!

the buy on it was perfect. I like the look of it. I would make a motor swap last on your list. Make it mechanically sound, then do your tinkering with the body and make it your own. Actually, first thing I would do is spend a whole day in that thing removing the purple tint :)

Yea i agree the tint needs to go haha, i havent had much time to mess with it yet. All i have done so far was tear out what was left of the carpet and some junk speaker boxes. I plan on putting the bedliner stuff on the floor once i get the holes patched.
