Default locking a 14 bolt ff axle

i have a 14 bolt ff axle and my dads friend into offroading said because the spider gears on a 14bolt ff axle are so big one easy way to lock it is to weld it but idk how to weld a rear axle so anyone with some info on how to do it correctly so it wont break would be great.

ill list step by step on how to do such a complicated task.

step 1. in your address bar type in www.google.com
step 2. in the google search bar type in..... welded 14 bolt.
step 3. click on first link that comes up in the search.
step 4. click on images on top left tool bar of google.
step 5. this isnt a hard job and has been done a million times. google is your friend.

I think everyone we know with a 14 bolt has it welded. Including mine, I was just lucky enough to have bought it that way.........

thats what my dads friend said too but ieveryone always says 14 bolt locked lol

My friend that had my blazer before me had a detroit locker in the rear and it started acting up....so we got the welder out and weld the ratching part to the main piece. It's been like that for 6 yrs!!! No problems and anything coming apart.
