No, I think it is on the back burner for a while. I am really trying to get some stuff done on my house. There is always the chance that I decide to half ass the rest of it and get it done in a hurry.

I actually did some work on the jeep today! The guys down at rocksolid performance were nice enough to let me use their axle jig for the day to get my rear axle housing built. It is a 78 Ford HP front that I added some tube to the short side to make into a rear. I used the ford 9" style flanges so it will now be a semi float axle. I am doing 35 spline chromoly shafts and probably a Yukon grizzly locker. The axle is in the back of the truck and it is dark outside so no pics but I will try to snap a couple tomorrow when I weld my axle tubes to the center section. I'm excites to be working on the thing again!!

Thanks to the guys over at rocksolid performance for letting me use their axle jig to weld up my HP60. I also got my truss built and the axle sitting under the jeep and ready to have some links put on.

The crossmember I bent up to attach my links to. Beejers is cutting my tabs for me today to mount my link bars so hopefully I can have the rear all mocked up this weekend. It is so nice actually having a nice shop with power and heat to work in! Merry Christmas to me!

Are you talking about the profile grinder? A friend of mine works at a machine shop that was getting rid of all the stuff they didn't use and I just happen to have 480 3 phase in my barn so I pretty much grabbed everything they wanted to sell. So far between the mill, radial ARM drill press, profile grinder, band saw, 2 big ass layout boards, 6 heavy duty sawhorses, rotary vice and a nice vice for the mill I got $1200 into everything. I could scrap it all for more than that.

Everything works but needs a little tlc, I need to get a new panel for the 480 and get power ran around the shop and then I will get them all fixed up. Right now I just wired in a pigtail into the fuse panel so I can run a welding machine until the guy gets done piecing together the panel.

Outstanding value there!

I just had to chuckle when I saw the grinder, my former shop used to have a line of 12 of them in constant use on 3 shifts prior to the advent of wire EDM's (Yea, I'm THAT old)

It is going to take me a while to get everything tooled up and running properly but it is a hell of a start to a workshop. I really lucked out on that deal!
