I have sent 4 shafts(mostly ears) to Vally Truck Parts (in GR) now and have always been happy with what I got back for the money. What your describing they can fix for around $150-200 balanced and around 4 days given what there working on currently.

The closest one to you is Warren like 40 miles away and I have never dealt with them though.

It all comes down to your time/experience/tools I know I can fix a propeller but don't have the equipment to balance it. For anything that sees speeds over 40mph Vally gets the job.

With the savings being less then $100 in many cases it is just easier to give them the cobbled mess, tell them how long it was before hand, and come back in 4 days to pick it up knowing that it will not vibrate or a "improvised" fix wont give out.

The place I got it from is going to fix it. Just have to send it to them and pay $100 or pull it my self and get a new one sent to me for $65

You didnt get the yoke off the splines??? did you try putting it in the freezer overnight yet...

No. Nah I dont really feel like messing with it and I might need it balanced anyways so I figure ill just sent it to the company and let them deal with it
