Default Coal Creek Acres in Tennessee

We're heading to Coal Creek Acres next week for the first time.

Anyone have any advice on what to do first? I see Whiterhino has talked about being there.

With 72,000 acres to choose from, it would be nice to know if there are some 'must do' trails, or what to avoid.

Thanks in advance

I have been there twice and both times enjoyed it but also have been frustrated. There are several trails that are marked on the map as challenging only to find out that they are quad only. And in one case, although the map showed a through road, it was gated. The place is huge and there are miles of dusty roads that must be traveled to get to each one.

Rattle Rock and Rail Bed are the trails that are must do. When you go in to Rattle Rock, you can go past the entrance down into a valley that is also pretty good. I don't know what it's called.

Rattle Rock.

Rail Bed. We ran it dowhill from the south side. To do it over, I would come in from the north.
