Default 1996 f150 problems.

I bought this 96' f150 and now the problems are starting. Here is a list I need help with.

1- trany pan won't stop leaking. Changed the gasket twice.
2. Gauge lights don't work. Put in a new switch and everything.
3. Power locks won't work and replaced the switch.

I checked all fues and everything. I am stumped on this.

With the tranny pan, get rid of the cork gasket or rubber gasket. Put a 1/4" bead of black, non drying RTV. It will keep a seal better and is resistant to the fluid. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN TRANNY PAN BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much like your intake manifold or your wheels, you must do the bolts in sequence and stepped torque increments. Start in the middle and criss cross your way out and start with 5 INCH-pounds of torque. Step it up and do 3 or 4 passes until you reach your final torque requirement.
