That's down from 49-percent a month ago and below the all time low point seen by his predecessor, President George W. Bush who never saw his job approval rating fall below 46-percent.
Lie. They left off part of what they were copying.

His approval rating dropped to 45 percent from 49 percent a month ago, according to the poll conducted from Thursday to Monday. Obama's predecessor, President George W. Bush, never saw his approval rating dip below 46 percent in Gallup polling in his re-election year of 2004.

The difference is Bush did not care about his approval rating and obama does care and not as many people care much for him or his policies or is it the color of his skin.

W didn't even know how to use a hammer, let alone lead.
Giving away the farm to your buddies ain't leading.
Oblahhma is just a pussy that thinks politics is a nice game of debate, while he cedes the farm too.
It seems the current new crop has no interest in re-election, only quick giveaways to the corporate headmasters til they reap their bonuses when they go back to their employ.

Still think "it's not fascism when we do it?"

Coming from a left wing media outlet what would you expect? If the truth got out that the tea party was a good thing and the media was behind them then the would have an easy time getting to the white house. But that is not the way it is. The media is behind and helping obama attempting to get re-elected. You will hear all the smears about how the and the tea party are racists and have no heart for the poor. But in the mean time the left will continue to push this country closer to what a socalist european country is like.

So a survey showing that Obama's popularity has dropped is big news, but a survey showing the Tea party is not very popular is some type of left wing media plat to discredit them. Got it.

Thats right. It happens all the time. The media continue to show in a bad light no matter what they said or did. Verbal gaffs for instance. Obama has em but you don't hear of them but any body else and it is on a continous loop throughout all media outlets including late night comedy shows for weeks on end. See they make sure nobody will forget. The left in this country attack in a mean spirited way but not give facts why they dislike them or the policies. They won't debate you they just call names. Listen to msnbc, ed shultz show etc and you will see what I mean.

You have been programmed well. I'll pass on the TV show. I prefer to form my own opinions rather than have them dictated to me by some talking head.

That study was conducted between 2006 and 2007 which were a long time ago. I am not an advocate for the tea party but I read the article so I thought i'd point it out.

I am sorry they were following up on their original research from that time peroid but asking the same small sample of people who were originally polled:
Quote:
The professors were following up on research they conducted in 2006 and 2007 for their book "American Grace: How Religion Divides and Unites Us" and decided to add the tea party and atheists to their list of survey queries. By going back to many of the same respondents, the professors gleaned several interesting facts about the tea party.

One of their more surprising findings, Campbell concedes, (and one drawing national attention) is that the tea party drew a lower approval rating than Muslims and atheists. That put the tea party below 23 other entries--including Barack Obama, Sarah Palin, Republicans and Democrats--that the professors included on their survey of "a representative sample of 3,000 Americans."

By examining which respondents became supporters of the tea party, Campbell and Putnam's survey "casts doubt on the tea party's 'origin story,' " they write in the Times--though, in fairness, it's perhaps difficult to generalize on the movement's origins from a poll sample of 3,000 respondents.
