Default Shake down run at the Mounds

Here is my shake down run from the Mounds today. Hopefully these pictures will show everyone how far the Mounds has come, and how much fun you can have at the local park.

Cant wait to go back on the 10th for the grand opening of the new additions.

The large stair step

nice. The hills on the center/west side of the park are the best secret about the mounds.

Nice. Thanks for posting and reminding us that there is more there than mud.

The pic where you said it is harder than it looks.................. expect it to get harder.

i think the mounds might of just given me my 1st boner.

Yes Nick, that's what I'm hinting at. There may be one or 2 buckets of stone dumped at that ONE SPECIFIC SPOT but not further back in. This won't be determined until the rest of the obstacles are completed so it's not a sure thing.

Wherever you decide to put some rocks, could you please widen the trail just a bit.

I did more 12 point turns than I care to remember

Absolutely NOT! If you want open wheeling, use the rocks in the fields.

I should rephrase that, the trails and climbs were perfect and I enjoy trees when wheeling. It is just when it takes 10 minutes or so to line up for a 20 foot climb it can get kinda old. This was probably because I was on the ultra tight trails on the west side of the park, and they are more of an atv trail anyways.

I know you guys will use your best judgment and place the rocks in just the right spots. I shouldn't doubt your skills with the rocks as all of the previous courses are top notch
I look forward to seeing what you have for us on the 10th.

I'm guilty of taking these pics and have to say the mounds was pretty fun even without my rig. I hadn't been there in about a year and its came a long way. Keep bringing in rocks and I'm sure ill be back with my jeep time and time again, shit its only 45 min away!!
