Sorry I missed your post in between the pictures, and thanks I already have a plate light. I looked for those ones, but Autozone only had a bar style, one that goes across the top.

T case mod

Went from a slip shaft with a snap ring to a 231j front output and yoke

Much better and it bolts up to my Cherokee shaft perfectly

Yeah its as low as i can get it right now and still have about 3 to 4 inches of up travel, and your right it drives way better than when it was IFS.

No, I will take him just didn't want to take him for the shake down run, I wasn't sure how everything would work out.

Just wait untill you are up for tires and front end parts. Then rather than throwing money at your IFS just cut it off

Just built some new sliders last night with help from Luke (In2deep)

Their built from 2"x2"x3/16"
Ive learned a few things building these

1) I cant stick weld
2) I cant use a portable ban saw to make a straight cut just ask Luke

Ill post up some pics once I get them painted, thats if the humidity drops anytime soon.

Ok I just put a new power steering pump on, the old one sheared the shaft that the pulley rides on clean off.

All I can say now is that I can turn lock to lock with the hubs unlocked on dry pavement with one finger!

Can't wait to wheel it on the 17th at R&V

Mine was done very differently from the all of the other ones I have seen online, although I have never seen another sas in person.

You will notice I am still using my stock front skid, which means I am using the stock power steering box and arm (bent), the oil filter is still in the stock location, and I still have the factory cross member (trimmed) for frame support.

Most will say you need to remove/modify all of this in order to stretch the front, however I pushed mine 3 inches forward without reinventing the wheel.

Let me know if you need any other pictures or advice.

After wheeling it I can say it defiantly helped but, still has it limitations.
I think hydro assist is the only way I can turn whenever I want but Im going to run it as is for awhile.

Rocks and valley was kinda hard on me last weekend

Broken ball joint led to a snapped u-joint and stub shaft. Which led to the lock out getting messed up on the other side. It will still lock in, but it won't stay unlocked it occasionally locks in while driving and the bolts that hold the hub on are very tight now, tighter than what I put them at.

This is how I got out

R&V's crew was great they offered to help if we couldn't get it fixed and they even left the gate open for us.

As for fixing it I have to thank John for all of his help and parts run!!

I drove it home later that night

Im currently on the lookout for spare shafts and lock outs, so if anyone wants to donate a set let me know
