Do they still have you finish inside the arena?

haven't finished inside the arena in a really long time. My first ore to shore we did not. (that was back when i was at NMU) but you still finish right behind lakeview arena.

Race is always fun, even if its more of an event for me than a race (I am sooooo slow on the non technical 2 track and road sections)

did he ride hard rock or soft rock?

It's a pretty cool event if you are into that kinda thing.

The locals make the event, the nymphs, the lions and kawanis clubs setting up aid stations, the random dude in the middle of butt fucked no where sitting on his quad with a case of beer to pass out to all the riders, and those damn cow bells, I still here cowbells ringing in my ears.

4 of us from Muskegon did the soft rock. This was the first MTB race for any of us and we had a great time. It was more of a ride for me as I had no idea what to expect but it was well run and everyone was great.

The people handing out beer really caught me off guard. And yes, the cow bells are still ringing. I would like to do it again.
