Default smashed the cell phone...suggestions?

Why does spiking a cell phone on the ground feel so damn good

I have ATT, not exactly a fan, but my plan is so old (not in a contract) that everything else out there is like 40 bucks more a month...and I don't over run on my minutes/data...That said, I'm not opposed to switching - dropped calls for 2+ years lead to this phones demise.

Suggestions on a phone?? I've got an Iphone for work...really just need something to talk on, text, and take pics - pics are more for runs to the hardware when I need to remember how something looks, etc.

x2 on Sprint. I made sure I got the warranty on the phones too. I have gone through 5 just because i have either smashed them in frustration or thrown them. Verizon is amazing

I got verizon this spring and hated it everyday. I would say 4 out of 5 calls I would drop. I flat out could not make calls from home (Lawton, still in town). I drive a lot for work and almost always dropped calls wherever I ended up. I switched to AT&T last week and love it. I have found one spot without service, but it's pretty far out and in a low area. I also am saving $80 a month with two lines.

Someone suggested boost mobile with shrinkage. Haven't checked it out personally but it's said to be inexpensive.

Verizon for me. I've had good luck and great service, I like my iPhone but the droid seems really popular too.

I have a verizon phone for work, but my personal phone is a straight talk. i get 30 days of unlimited calling, internet and texting for 47.99. I have zero problems with them and their service.

Their coverage is good, their internet is the suck, and I'm not even sure you can send or receive pictures unless you buy one of the more expensive phones from them.

We have ATT and haven't had to many problems. They are just expensive. We're off contract now and have thought about moving to straight talk or something like that. we pay 110 ish dollars a month for 300 min and 200 texts a piece. Not worth it IMO. I just don't want to go through the hassle of getting a new phone. Mostly because I have a Rugby phone which has stayed alive for 3 years. Which is almost impossible with me. I threw it against a wall once and put a hole in the wall. It still works. I'd have to get a new phone and it wouldn't surrvive as long. That or I would have to stop throwing it when I get pissed.

i had the same issue with att. an old plan (cheap) and an old phone that kept dropping calls. My friend gave me a newer phone and jailbroke it, put in my chip and voila, new phone, same cheap plan. try it, but i have no advice on how to jailbreak a phone.

I check my mail on it, post on gl4x4, facebook etc and send/receive picture texts all the time. So yeah, you are ignorant on yet another topic.
