No RZR talk in this thread.

No TREC either, for that matter.

So, sometimes priorities get in the way.......

No, I'm not parting anything out.

But, I have had a couple of other projects come thru that, once again, have put my own stuff on the back burner.

First, and without regret, is my fathers old car. I've known it forever, and since I now have a larger garage than he (hehehe) and he continues to buy cars, it has landed on my property. I talked him into fuel injection a couple years ago, and with that change came A/C and a bunch of other changes to make it a nice "driver". Well, the A/C works, but a black car with clear glass, dual exhaust and zero insulation = hot as hell in the summer. So, for fathers day I told him I would insulate what I could get to. Apparently, I was feeling productive this evening.

Ok, Summit brand insulation is a winner. Double sided alum foil around 3/8 of felt. This is a totally different car. I didnt want to use Dynamat as I hate the idea of hot gooey tar stuck to everything, and this was easy enough to work with, cheaper too. Win. The car is filthy, but on a hot summer night a test drive was required.

Now, one more to knock out before I get back to my own stuff..... at least until something else comes along.

This belongs to my friend. It is very cool, and bone stock save for the steel wheels and 285's that we just installed. It also leaks everywhere that fluid should be held and needs some upgrades and updates. I told him I wouldn't work on it unless I was allowed to re-locate the Hellas as a first step......
I'm still working on him about the Oakley sticker.

Summit- part TRU-BLIP12406
4'x6' sheet was around $35. Interior took 2 sheets. I drove it around in the sun today and the air was able to keep the cabin cool. Huge improvment, I'm going to order a couple rolls for my Chevelle.

Well, I lost on the Oakley sticker, but the Hella re-locate was a success.
Better?
It also holds its lunch now- Oil pan, valve covers, front axle, etc. This has been fun to work on, but its time for it to go. Mines next.

Rear shock mounts are starting to take shape. They will double as c-pillar tie-ins. I will have to french some boxes into the frame like everyone else has had to do. Tab made me a cool bumper to match the front that he made. Thanks Tab!

Nice work. I am going to need to do better shocks or?? sometime. I will be interested to know how those fox shocks work with "factory type" coils.

I'm in for R&V again, or something else, but if i'm going to the dunes i'm taking the family. Green doesn't look as good in a bikini as my wife does.

Cooking contest=not hardcore. Strangler=hardcore+a billion.

Normally I would agree with you. But since I dont even own a rig to take to the dunes, I would rather cook than ride bitch. Actually I am building a new rig for this event. It just happens to have a smoker, 4 sinks, 2 steam warmers, stainless tables and a water pump on it.
