Transmission slipping

Went to the dragstrip tonight, transmission worked great when I got there. Got in my truck to leave and right from the start it was slipping. Fluid is full and clean, I just had a trans service done late last year. What could be causing this? Its a 94 suburban diesel w/ a 4l80e tranny
