Hey why would you wanna go down south? If there's sooo many here get off your ass and do the farmers here a favor and go shoot a couple. DNR will let you anytime.

I was talking about the little baby turkey he killed. hunting is about killing a prime animal after outsmarting it, not about pegging the first thing that walks in front of you.

I will only agree with half of that. Not everyone is a trophy hunter, some of us hunt for the meat not the rack on the wall. I shot at the first doe that walked in front of me last year, I don't see how that changes the time or effort I put into the hunt.

There is a difference. You still were harvesting a mature animal, not a yearling.

I hunt for food more then anything else, can't eat their horn's. Every other turkey i've harvested has been over 10" in beard length. This was a victim of me wanting some wild turkey meat and only having one day to go cause of work. 10" turkey's taste just like 4" turkey's. Next year Saskatchewan black bear and wolf hunt. Just like the pen hunting comment's left in here, I wish I owned a 240+ acre pen.

I'm going there I've got 2 points now. My friend is a guide there. I spent 4 hrs at his house last night watching vidoes of all different hunts. It was cool. No orgies, too many pheromones to tip off the prey
