i got the rear shocks mounted in today, those damn "factory nuts" were a PITA... and to add to it as a teaser only one of the bolts from each side broke

so i knocked em all out and put new grade 8 bolts in through the top and nutted em down...

also pulled it out of the garage and threw some 32's on it for fun.. then did a little spray bed lining to the rockers and lower quarters of the doors and body. just waiting on a trac-bar relocating bracket from ebay and this thing should be on the road.....

i'll put pics up tomorrow, its a little dark right now to snap a few shots

lol MB, i got the rear bumper from another guy on here... dont remember the name off the top of my head though..

Still need to paint up my new hood.... the paint on this one is pretty awful lol, flakes off like dead leafs in the fall

I've also decided to do an additional 2" budget boost to it in a few months... (coil spacers and lift shackles)

ok so i've hit a small snag..... i knew the window had an issue with either the motor or the regualtor.....

yup.... its the regulator.... now the fun part, no local parts store carries the dual feed regulator like whats used.... everyone only has in stock and can order a single rail fed regulator..... SOOOOOoooo Does anyone on here have a hookup with dealership parts.... can't think of anywhere else that may be able to get me the correct regulator

i did also manage to change my mind on the CB location and mounted in along side the center console... looks nicer and a lot less of a "steel me" Beacon lol

was checking out the prices and was considering a little upgrade maybe sometime this summer.. what do ya guys think

so this is my rough plan for the light bar... gonna use 1" steel conduit (OD) (also because its cheap and easy to bend...)

galvanized poisoning is avoidable by either not using the cheap shit or sand blasting the galvanized coating off first, that usually makes you spend as much as DOM would have been in the first place though

also galvanized poisoning only lasts until you get to fresh air

so i have finally finished the light rack... After welding a "brush" bar to the top of the rack to deflect branches and such i really didn't like it... too gaudy and out of proportion IMO..
Attachment 80401
So i chopped it off and wheeled it back to smooth then re-painted it
