Question For Sale - 96 Ford Ranger SuperCab 4x4

Thinking of going bigger and the Ranger has been found lacking in towing and hauling...as much as I hate to admit it. I don't wheel as much anymore so I think a bigger truck is in order. Local dealership is offering a really good trade in rate so I'm contemplating trading it in on a bigger used 4x4.

However I'd prefer it first went to someone who would appreciate it and what I've put into it.
I've got a pretty complete write up on my CarDomain site:

Some highlights:
-4.0L V6
-173,000 or so miles (starts every time, doesn't burn oil, and doesn't drip but a quarter sized spot ONLY if you leave it sit for a few weeks, daily drive it and it drips nothing)
-5 speed stick (clutch has MAYBE 20,000 miles on it, OEM Ford stuff, shifts great)
-SuperCab STX
-4x4 with Ford manual hubs
-Power steering
-Manual windows and door locks (You'll NEVER have to fix these EVER unlike power stuff)
-Sliding rear window
-Rear jumper seats for your skinny 12 year old kids...any bigger and hopefully you have something else to transport more than 2 adults in
-Obnoxiously Ford Blue interior with grey buckets out of a '01 Explorer Sport (SOFT AND CUSHY but don't match-ever tried to find blue buckets for a Ranger? ;banghead; )
-4.56 gears
-D35 front
-'97 Explorer 8.8" with disc brakes, a Powertrax NoSlip locker, and a '00+ Ford Explorer IRS cover (THICK aluminum, drain plug, and cooling fins)
-2" Skyjacker coils
-adjustable camber/caster bushings
-No blocks in the rear, I went with a BDS long add-a-leaf kit - rides great, flexes great
-Rough Country/Heckethorn Nitro 9000 monotube front shocks and Bilstein HD rear shocks
-255/85R16 Interco TrXus MT tires (simply excellent tires) with fullsize spare (33x9.5R15 generic mud)
-16x7 Unique black steel wheels
-Rhino Liner bedliner over the rails
-Alpine CD player with remote and Pioneer 6x8 speakers
-2.25" Magnaflow stainless steel muffler with a turn down (not obnoxiously loud but has a nice rev to it)
-Solid 14.5-15mpg for daily driving
-1-pc aluminum driveshaft out of a '99 or so Ranger SuperCab.
-Body isn't pristeen but there's absolutely NO scary rust and very minimal dents, dings, etc.
-front receiver tube bumper that's been Rhino Lined
-2" Class III rear hitch with towing harness
-I know there's more stuff...lots of little stuff and maybe some big stuff I'm forgetting...it's been a busy 3 years... :P

-Engine doesn't idle right. Lopes a bit around 1000rpm at start up and drops down to 700rpm and lopes happily there when it's good and warm. I've had people beleive me when I told them I had a really aggressive cam in it. ;rolleyes; ;) I think it's something to do with the IAC Valve but I've never narrowed it down enough and honestly, it starts every time and and you put 5 quarts in and 3k later you get almost 3k out. Doesn't stall or anything. Above idle it revs as sweet as any 4.0L I've ever driven.
-Check engine light is on. Something to do with the EGR...think it needs to be replaced. It's always been on and frankly I've never been that worried about it. Like I said it starts and runs great so I haven't been that worried about it.
-Front end has issues. I think at least one bearing set needs to be redone, it needs new pivot and radius arm bushings (I have Duff poly bushings for both of these), and after these it will need an alignment.
-The rear sits a little lower than the front. I have some Bell-Tech shackles to lift it 2" or so and get the back end up.
-Parking brake isn't hooked up...but I have the cables...eh, been lazy...

What I have sitting around that I might be persuaded to let go with the truck if you make me happy with the sale price:
-1988 or so Ford OEM High Rider lift kit...would make for a complete 2" lift kit (longer drop brackets, lowered radius arm crossmember, drop idler arm - all with Ford part numbers) with the 2" Skyjacker coils that are already on it and the rear stuff I'll be providing
-new in box Rear Rough Country/Heckethorn Nitro 9000 shocks (perfect for 2-6" of lift and work great)
-Front and rear extended steel flexible brake lines NIB
-Extang Toneau Cover
-Uhm......I think there's more...been so busy with school it's all kinda got shoved off to the side

This really is a good truck. I've just been thinking about getting something bigger as I don't offroad much and honestly my Suzukis are better for that. If nothing happens hell, I'll just keep it, fix it, and keep driving it. I don't NEED a bigger truck right now.

I'm in Traverse City, MI 49684. I'll say $4500 Or Best Reasonable Offer. I'd love for someone that would appreciate it to get it.

Possible trade for older GM 4x4 fullsize. Diesel preferably.

Your lumpy / lopey idle is from your EGR valve not working correctly.

Nice truck.

Another thing to do is clean the MAF on it. Spray some cleaner on the elements and that might help as well. The MAF's are known to get dirty and cause funky running conditions. Good luck with the sale!
