Default 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L 4x4 - $8000

This jeep was my daily driver for the past 4.5 years until I recently purchased a more fuel efficient car. I bought it with ~28,000 in 2006 and it now sits at ~155,000. Scheduled maintenance has been followed, including several transmission, differential and axle services to keep fluids fresh. It is reaching another maintenance interval, but there's nothing requiring immediate or serious attention. It has some minor scratches and blemishes as you would expect from 150k+ miles, but no major dents or body damage. The exterior is "Deep Beryl Green Pearlcoat" and the interior is gray. There is no rust on the body at all. I was in a fender bender this past summer with front & rear damage, but insurance covered all repairs. Nothing mechanical, just a couple bumpers and some paint. That has been the only accident the vehicle has been in. It is the Limited model, so it does have extra chrome trim, leather seats, powered moonroof, Boston Acoustics sound package and the 6-disc MP3 changer with Sirius satellite radio. It does have the towing package with a Class 4 receiver to tow your toys around. There is nothing non-factory on this vehicle other than switching to a comparable Dunlop tire. I have never had it "offroading" other than pulling my trailer & sandrail to camp in the woods.

This would be a great start for someone who wanted a later model rig to build up, or just for driving through these nasty winter days. Kelly Blue Book says $8300 with given miles and options in Fair condition. If I were to do the maintenance schedule (trans/axles/dif/tune-up) that is due soon, I would rate it in Good condition and the KBB price goes up to $9800. The trans/axles/dif services are fairly inexpensive to do yourself, so it would be great for somebody who can wrench. I get an engine light every once in a while for emissions / PCV valve, but its sporadic and not critical. It's a $50 replacement if you can do it yourself. I've listed it on GL4x4 only for the time being at $7000. I'm flexible as I know it will need some work down the road for the potential buyer, but I'm not in a huge rush to unload it.

The pictures are from when I bought the jeep in 2006, but nothing has changed appearance wise since. I'd be happy to take pictures if there's anything specific you'd like to see. I'm located in Romeo, Michigan but drive through Livonia and Dearborn weekly if you would like to arrange a meeting. I'd prefer email or phone for contact. You can text message me anytime, but please only call after 5pm or on weekends. I will be diligent in updating this ad if it sells, so if you are reading this ad I DO still have the jeep.

my daily drive was usually 50 miles of mostly highways (M53 -> 696 -> I275) where I'd get about 17.5MPG. I'd get 18.5 if I was limited to 55mph due to traffic or weather

Around town was closer to 15MPG

Thanks

Bump for ya!
I wish I had the cash and space for another Jeep.
06 WK Overland, 99 WJ & 98TJ as of now.... I'd sell the WJ if the wife would let me so I could upgrade my DD to the 05.

Either way, If I get a better job and you still have this I'll email ya. I'm just waiting to hear back on a JOB offer.

Good luck man Someone should snatch this up soon!
