This is the plan for my ZJ, sort of. I just gotta drop it off too him and let him tear it apart and put it back together. Dont worry I plan on intensive bumper vs other vehicle/tree stress tests

Really?
You say you want to develop a line of bumpers, rockers and other off road components to SELL. You are looking for MONEY to help DEVELOP these products to SELL.

Well, here's a little insight for you. That is NOT a HOBBY. That is a BUSINESS PLAN. (albeit a shitty one) What you actually offered is a poor example of an IPO (initial public offering) where you are willing to sell a portion of your business to help fund it.

Are you really that stupid that you would actually think people would hand over money to you just so you can fu ck around?

Just cause I want to develop and sell bumpers, rock sliders, and other products doesn't mean I want to start a business. I consider it a "hobby" because I enjoy designing/building this stuff and it's more of a side project. And you may be thinking to yourself, "if he actually enjoyed doing it, he'd do it for free.", but I go by the saying, "If you're good at something, don't do it for free." If one day I start a business, then sweet, but for now its merely a hobby. And yeah, I knew what IPO stood for...

OK, I'll play one more round. Selling something means you have income. Income requires you to pay income taxes, or file a tax return with writeoffs to offset your income.

I'm pretty sure the IRS calls this a "business".

And to back up, what makes you think anyone would just give you money to watch you play with your hobby? How's this, I like to water ski. Please buy me a new boat.

Donate one of your bumpers for the silent auction at the Operation Hansen fund raiser and let the 4x4 world bid on it. Make sure you pimp your stuff. My guess is there will be lots of people to bid on it.

x2

If you want to foster some goodwill from the 4x4 community this would be an awesome thing to do.
