Default chrysler 8.25 locker question, please help!

So I have a Detroit ez locker for my Chrysler 8.25 rear axle. I blew the springs up this past winter and am in need of a spring kit for it but eaton hasn't manufactured this locker in 3 years so this spring kit is impossible to find. Now my question is... will a spring kit for another locker work? I have looked at a couple powertraxxx spring kits and those springs look just like the ones I broke in my ez locker. I just don't want to put it together with those springs and have it not work or have a catastrophic failure. Any help is appreciated guys.
