X2. Should've let people for Chadville enter in by the large tube w/ the rti ramp that way they could bypass the wait for the intermediate course that was getting bottle necked on the ONE LANE bridge that went over the tunnel.

Next year.

We will work on the traffic, it has been getting better over the years. If we have a major hang up on the course, it is tough to get it cleaned out.

We will try to make the line for chadville quicker as there was pretty much no waiting during the day, but the line didn't allow for people to bypass and head directly into chadville.

Again, please give us your comments and feedback. We want to keep improving to give you all a great experience and if we can streamline the process, it makes our lives easier.

Also, anyone that would like to volunteer for next year or join please visit our website or send a PM to any of the members here on GL.

See ya next year.
1. I would take down all the fencing. I understand that you want to make a separation for safety sakes, but you can't move around in there. People want to get pictures of the rigs conquering the obstacles. you couldn't watch 1/2 of chadville. People should be able to walk around and watch. Drivers have to be careful while driving.

2. While obviously the "staff" can't be every where, I think its crap that the 13 y/o boy who had the staff shirt. No way he could find a solution to getting people out faster than 1/2 the visitors.

3. Set up communication channel on the CB. Utilize what alot of people have. I saw the one guy that lost a bead off his XJ, and he just needed some air. It took 20 min to get a guy with OBA to him. A simple call on the CB for somebody with OBA would have shorted that time quickly.

4. Set up a Volunteer sign up thing there. My jeep sat up in the parking lot, and could have been utilized to assist stuck/broken down rigs out of the way.
5. Mark the obstacles. That way, when somebody gets stuck in "Intermediate 15" he can get on the CB and say "I am stuck in Intermediate 15. I need to be pulled forward and Air for my tire" the volunteers know exactly where he is, and what is needed.

I like the idea of running the more prepared rigs first.

And of coarse a seperate enterance to Chadville would really really help.
Consider it done. I know how to separate Chadville from intermediate. It just dawned on me! Dont know why i didnt think of it sooner.

The reason for all the fencing is because in 2010 the drivers were complaining about too many spectators in the way. We will keep the fencing. The yellow shirts should have radios but i like your idea.

Found it, Bad Ass Jeep, Part 1,2 &3. I liked part 1 and part 3 the best. I bet if you had been further down the course and caught the look on his face when he dived down off the berm the look would have been priceless. Nice frigging rig though.

Monkeybiz as stated my son is 14 soon to be 15 not 13. He did his first engine swap at 12 and has been wheeling with me since 9. He is into this sport and has been spotting me for almost 3 years. I was at the first corner across from him where alot of people were getting stuck within ear shot if he had problems plus we had 3 other club members working the rocks that he knew he could call for to. I asked people that came thru how he was doing and always got positive remarks. Your the only one I'm hearing giving grief about him wanting to help and wheeling the legal and right way. If I thought for a second that he could not do a good job I would not of let him do it.

Back to the subject of the course I saw people with open diffs make it thru and I saw people with lockers and bigger tires get stuck or break. But there should be a requirement of proper tow points , that would of helped alot

3. Intermediate course. Itís entrance is the second driveway on your left off industrial drive. Please stay to the left so Chadville traffic can pass you on the right. We ask that you have at least one recovery point. We also ask that you listen to the yellow shirts. Seatbelts required! After the drivers meeting is over Jeep #ís 1-200 can head down. At 12:30 Jeeps 201-400. At 1PM Jeeps 401-600 at 1:30 601 and up. This will make for short lines so please donít cut. If you are caught cutting you will be sent back to the main parking lot. We also ask you to air down your tires.

It was.

Great time as always. Been going since it was at the church and this was one of the best. All of the staff was courteous and helpful.

I ran the intermediate course (on 33ís) and it was definitely more challenging (more fun) than last year. The intermediate course is by far the most popular and attracts the most drivers so it will be hard to get away from the lines.

Cadillac Jeepers always invite feedback via their website and I will provide some keeping mind that this is a already a great, fun, family event.

Thanks for all the hard work.
