Default transfer case

Does anyone know if any other transfer case will fit behind a c4, other than the dana 20? I know an atlas will, but i am looking for something a little more common and a helluva lot cheaper.

thanks,

yes as long as it has the correct output shaft and tail housing. NP205,203,208 and quite a few others from just about any ford truck will interchange, just about but they use a different bolt pattern then the dana's i think.

The C4 uses the smaller bolt pattern, so the full size t-cases just will not work. Look for a t-case from any year Ranger(not Expo), any of those will work and you can chose electric or manual shifted versions.

Here is a list of adapters from Advance if you want to get really pricey.
