Default U-Bolt supplier

I'm new here but have been picking up a bunch of good info. I did not have good luck with a search to find a good U-bolt supplier in the Grand Rapids area for my 8.8 swap. I thought I would post this to help anyone else out. I ended up going to AB Spring Service at 4537 Roger B. Chaffee. I got 4 u-bolts made, nuts and washers for $24 in 15 minutes.

when i did my 8.8 swap, i went to auto zone and bought a ubolt kit for a ford explorer. it was $19.95.

when i needed spring center pins i went to AB spring and got 2 center pins, threw a $100 bill on the table and the guy didn't want to make change so he just gave them to me. :)

St.Johns Trucking in Muskegon is great too. I would stay away from Muskegon Brake, they will rape you on U-bolts.

I always use AB spring for U-bolts, they are the cheapest around and will make you anything you want while you wait. They are also open 24 hours, so if you know what you want and pay with a card they will let you pick them up from the night shift crew. The last set I got was about half price of the crappy taiwan set I could have bought at the local parts store.
