somebody tried to steal this fancy car once, so i had to put 7-8 wires back together in the column. Now the car has fancy things like functioning wipers, stoplights, turnsignals.

you still have to start the car a really a ghetto way, buy sliding the thing on the left of the column toward you

Talking

I like how the Chevy sticks out about 3 feet farther than the rest of the cars.

$250 for that chevy .... good deal I have bought a couple of good runners for $500 (2 of them) low rust and low miles and drove them for a few years. Never seen a $250 car i wanted though unless it was a parts car.

The concept sounds like a blast. a beater rally.

the trick is to find them non-running or close to non running condition, with an easy fix. as in somebody tried to steal it and you have to crimp all the wires back together on the column

Hehe, I wish I would have know about this longer. I've been driving a $10 buick that I got from a friend for almost 3 years now. I needed a battery terminal cleaning and new trans lines. I just got back from a weekend trip to South Carolina with it. That was 2140 miles. :) Never missed a beat. It's got 175k on it. I've spent in total less than $300 on it since i've owned it. Not counting insurance and oil changes. But including junkyard tires and hood and fenders.

Best car ever:)
Maybe I'll have to do this next year, assuming the rust does not completely overtake it this winter. It's worse than it looks.

By the way, good score on the Brougham.
