Default 8.8 swap question

Weather's warming and no excuses, so it's getting time to finally do my swap.
Does anybody run into issues with the pig hitting the gas tank in a TJ?
Seems with the cover on, it looks to go at least another 2" back from the centerline of the axle.

It's not uncommon for it to rub just slightly, depending on angle and lift height. You can either "clearance" the diff cover or the tank skid.

A stock LCA is 16" and I'm out to 161/2 with a 4" RC lift that actually is higher.
By "clearance" I'm guessing you mean the BFH route

Yes, thus the quotes

I'd try it first and see if it rubs. If not, you're set.
