Default took the rzr to the mounds today 2/15/11

It was nice to actually ride this thing and not have it break. These things are a blast got stuck a few times. Every thing was cool until I noticed the warning label about not using drugs...that one ruined my day

Those warning labels come off very easily with a heat gun .

Looks like fun though, and good to hear that it held together finally.

I have been terrorizing my neighborhood with mine lately, I'm sure my neighbors love me!

I would have to agree with you...these things, while fun are very poorly built, poor workmanship, self tapping screws and bolts, push rod style engine, ect just shoty all around...however they hit a home run when it comes to fun factor

I was just going to ask what the breakdown issues were. I know about quads quit a bit, but nothing about these things.

I also got a sad face in the show room while sitting in one because just as I found a nice flat spot that I could chop up an eight ball on, I saw the sticker. What a deal breaker.

Looks like a lot of fun anyway.

let me say out of all the people I know with these, they have had no issues what so ever and they have beat the piss out of them... I am pretty sure I either got the Friday @ 1700 machine or the Monday @ 0800 machine...either way mine sucks. At 6miles I had the primary clutch blow out...24 days out of the first month I owned it, it was at the dealer getting that fixed. 60miles, blown crank seal, valve cover gasket, crankcase ventilation system...another two weeks getting fixed. it's very hard to like something that breaks like this, but when i see my friends having no problems, I know it's just mine...but so far I haven't had any further problems. And if you were wondering, I do have a lawyer looking to lemon lawing this thing. Even if that happens I will buy another one, they ARE fun

and as far as the no drugs thing...tell me about it... I had a hand full of excesty, viagra, and oxycontin and was ready to party and then I saw that...ruined my whole day

My son had a RZR S that had lots of issues too. I don't remember all of them but the lower coil "pads" on the front coilover shocks are thin aluminum and he had them both widen enough to come off the shocks. He ended up machining his own thicker pads which solved the problem. He also had to have his tranny completely rebuilt due to a gear stripping teeth. It took him quite a while to get Polaris to cover it under warrantee, but they finally relented. A lot of smaller issues too, but I know many of them were tranny related.

He sold it and is waiting for a new 900 XP, apparently Polaris decided to create a better tranny to handle the new larger engine so he is hoping this tranny will hold up.
