Default 91 f-350 tire size ?'s

Ok so I just had a f-350 diesel 4x4 follow me home this week, and it needs new shoes. right now it has 265's on a 16" rim. Looks like i can clearly run a 305 with out much issue but wondering if a 315 would clear the wheel wells... she sits up pretty tall and figure since it needs new tires I might as well go up a size or while I am at it...

I had 315s on my 94 with only a little trimming on the bumper.

a friend of mine has 35x13.5x16 on his 97 f350 with stock suspension. and they stick out a bit as well. so 315s shouldnt be a problem.

thanks for the info, its a non turbo diesel 7.3 so eating up power isnt an issue since theres not much to begin with.. but maybe I'll just stick with 305's
