Love that phrase.

It's still shouldn't be that easy to access things that are supposed to be 18+ material. Just as easy as it is for me to go buy a software program (which I will do once my kids get to that age) it would be that easy for them (the webmasters) to put one more thing to verify age before the Explicit material flows.
You're saying something that should be done, but the only real way to do what you want is with government and legal involvement. Your statements are quite hypocritical.

People shouldn't have to hear someone blurt out obscenities in public, or get mugged, or get robbed, etc. but that's the real world and shit happens. Porn isn't going anywhere soon when it's one of the biggest money making industries out there. It's not going to disappear, so you will have to learn to worldproof your children.

any serious effort to reform the media system would have to necessarily be part of a revolutionary program to overthrow the capitalist system itself."

Yet President Obama, long an ardent backer of net neutrality, is ignoring both Congress and adverse court rulings, especially by a federal appeals court in April that the agency doesn't have the power to enforce net neutrality. He is seeking to impose his will on the Internet through the executive branch. FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, a former law school friend of Mr. Obama, has worked closely with the White House on the issue. Official visitor logs show he's had at least 11 personal meetings with the president.

The net neutrality vision for government regulation of the Internet began with the work of Robert McChesney, a University of Illinois communications professor who founded the liberal lobby Free Press in 2002. Mr. McChesney's agenda? "At the moment, the battle over network neutrality is not to completely eliminate the telephone and cable companies," he told the website SocialistProject in 2009. "But the ultimate goal is to get rid of the media capitalists in the phone and cable companies and to divest them from control."

I'm going to world proof my Children. Trust me. I've been saying that all along. I'm not looking for the Gooberment to do everything, or anything, for me. I would just like somebody, governmental or not, to do a better job enforcing those laws. I'm not looking to ban Porn, although I'm not against the idea. However, I realize that is one of the biggest money makers out ther and it's sad to me that it is. I just would like them to more strictly enforce the laws that are already there.

What I'm getting from some of you is you'd rather have them be laxed on already existing laws so that you're access isn't restricted. If they did enforce just those laws (that already exsist) it would probably take care of most of the problems with Kids seeing it and not restrict your access at all. Assuming, of course, that porn isn't the only thing you look at besides Gl4x4. It's not a matter of adding anything, it's a matter of actually enforcing those laws.

How to go about that Logistically, I have no idea. I'm not saying this HAS to happen, I'm just saying, IMO, I would love for porn to be more restricted.
