ya cant say i agree with the bolt in comment either, lol. think i about fell out of my chair laughing. Sounds like this is a build you will need help with and there will be more to it than just bolting in the D44. Do some research and go for it. Its a good capable candidate

your not serious right.. why wouldnt a 4.0 with 4.88 gears go 65? there are alot of other factors into how fast something will go. Tire size will play a big role in how the rig will accelerate. but im 100% sure that with a 4.0 4.88s and 35s it will go down the road 70-75 no problem.

Oh and i have done the swap as well my 94 ranger had a Full width 44 and 9 inch under it and it was a pretty simple swap not a whole lot to do but i would recommend having someone with fab skills help. It will make the stuff that does have to be Fabed alot easier.

had a 94 with 44 fullsize front, 9 in rear with 4.88s, 38.5 tsls, and it would run down the road 70 all day long. with the 4.88s, it had alot of power, even for havin the 4.0 that had been hydrolocked, overheated, and run outta oil. heres a few pics of mine,

heres one of CheapthrillsB2s sas 44 with 38s.

LOL Ok then go 5.13 and Nitrous.. The engine will compenstae for a 50 horse dry shot and with a wet system you dont need any kind of retuning up to a 150 shot and " Nitrous isn't dangerous ." The inexperianced user is dangerous!!!!! just my 2c
