Default s10 blazer trans

I have to do a trans in my brothers s10 blazer and i havent everdone one before any help or tips that can help me out

With my 1988, I just unbolt the front driveshaft and pull it from the transfer case, disconnect the linkage and undo the bolts around the trans and it comes right out, just like any other rear wheel/4 wheel vehicle. ;)

Hope it helps. It isn't hard on my S10

Hope it helps. It isn't hard on my S10
On a 88 they are easy but on a 98 the bellhousing is sealed, no inspection cover on the bottom, and the torque converter bolts are a pain. Drop the crossmember, tilt trans, get top bellhouseing bolts out and pull. don't forget about the BIG-O-Knot of wires connected to the trans and T-case.
