Default My new hauler

It been about 4 years in the process but it now done as of today.
I bought it about 4 years ago, it started its life as a 26' enclosed trailer. It was hit in the rear of the truck and front of the trailer. It twisted the heck out of the trailer from front to bad. I cut off the top at the place where i bought it and headed for home with just the deck and 2 tires. I took the trailer to a place in Burton called Kustom Trailers, after removing twisted metal and repairing what could its now about a 14.5' deck. New skirting, winch plate, front bulk head, fenders, and rear 2x8 tubing I get it back. Finish with new deck boards, ramps, front crank, wiring and lights. Only thing left to add is tie points and a winch.

Would you happen to have any smaller pictures?

Why didnt you keep it an enclosed but shorten it to remove some of the damage?

How much do you have into it as it sits?

Any before pictures?

I need to figure out how to change to sizes.
The top was damaged beyond repair.
The cost is unreal. I bought it for $200. 2 new tires and rims for tractor supply was about $230. All the work done at Kustom trailer was only $350, and that included all material and labor. The wood was given to me by a friend that I helped move from his house. And the expanded metal came from my old worn that was going to be thrown out. The wire was spare I had laying around and the light I used from my flat tow set up. Last purchase was the deck screws and those where a total of $40.
So to answer your question I have about $820.00 into it as it sets now.

Yeah the worst part was the twisting. The front left was down zmost to the ground and the back right was about the same. Kustom trailers took about 3 feet off he front behind the tongue frame and the 6' dove tail.
