Never said you couldn't ride anything, Erin. I still openly challenge you to produce a quote where I said as much. I was just curious if you had "Clued your Dudes" in on ORV trail riding rules and etiquette.

It is not out of ordinary to think someone stopping by for the weekend may not know.

BTW, SRS question here - have any favorite vids from the roundy-round in St. Ste. Marie? I always seemed to be in town doing cold weather testing when those guys would show up - but could never get free to watch.

Looking at one of the local race sleds for sale (parked in front of a business) said a lot about the size and material of the rider's balls.

That's long long day on anything. I bet your nuts feel like they're still moving for a week after.

I can't find any quality videos. Some decent ones by "turn five racing" but they kinda lack something.

Good gear goes a long ways. Gore-tex is awesome!!! I only were a fleece or a jersey under my klim pull over (no insulation, just a wind break) and fleece pants under my klim pants. Good boots and gloves are what I worry about the most. I normally just buy snowboarding boots when they go on sale. Cheap, good ankle support and warm. You do look funny walking in them though.

I also ride in snowboard boots, they work great. I am surprised you don't see more people wearing them. Also insulated mechanic gloves work for me.

sounds like a waste....proper tire studs are all you need and I bet work WAY better than 1 1/2 picks...

I call bs on this unless you have some super dirtbike you will have a hard time keeping up with any modern 600cc or higher sled, let alone on snow. my 600 polaris twin makes my friends suzuki 250 look like its standing still in the summer
