Default 1979 F250 low boy for sale

Has a 300c.i. 6 cylinder. It does run, but has blow by. 4 speed manual, np205 transfer case, dana 44 & 60 axles. The cab has a couple small holes in the drivers floor. Frame is solid. The fuel tank just started leaking. The box floor is rotted out. It sat under a tree full of leafs for years. I have an extra set of wheels & tires for the truck too, but the tires have cracks in them. They are bf goodrich m/t's. The picture is blurry, but I tried showing the tread depth with a quarter. Look at the pics close. $600 obo.

Would you trust this on the freeway? How bad is the leak on the tank? Floors pretty solid other than those few holes on the driver side? Lights all work? Gauges work?

I drove it home a few years ago. It'll do 55 no problem. The tank has a steady drip. All of the lights used to work, but the tail lights have a short in them. I could fix the short so it can be driven home. all of the gauges seem to work. The floors seem solid besides the holes on the drivers side. This was going to be a project truck, but I have too many other projects going on and the truck is just sitting outback rotting away. I replaced the heater core, steering shaft, rebuilt the carb, and replaced the spark plugs. The blower motor also quit working recently.

So the heat works, it just isn't being pushed into the cab because of the blower? Can you tell where at on the tank it's leaking (i.e, more than half full and it leaks, or just a constant leak, regardless of fuel level)? Also just noticed the mirror is missing on the passenger side. Do you still have that, and could it be reattached?

Where abouts in Allegan are you?

No, I don't have the mirror. Yes the heat does work. The leak is on the bottom of the tank towards the front of the tank. I put a gallon of gas in it to get it started and it all leaked out in a couple days. The strap is missing and it is leaking where the strap was.
