Default Yes, another new person..PLEASE Help!

I have not been here long but I am HIGHLY interested in Blazer's, mainly the 73-86 K5's.

I don't have one YET but I hope to.

This is where the HELP comes in. If anyone in or near Grand Rapids, especially by Ann Street Auto Sales 1970 Alpine Nw Grand Rapids, MI 49504, I'd like someone to check this K5 out for me:

http://www.autofind.com/dealer/detai...CKR189Z154965/

Let me know either here or in a PM or email, doesn't matter.

Thanks, Paul

welcome, I drive by Ann St. Auto once in a while and have seen it, looks clean. Not sure how soon I can stop and check it out better, maybe sometime this week.

I have a couple things I see in the pictures.
1. the body lift (cobbled?) the tail gate assist springs are now hooked under the bumper and not on the frame pins.
2.rear bumper bolts missing? sign of cobble?
3. double header gaskets and they are brand new = they leak regular
4 alt bracket cobbled.
5 chopped A/C

and the drum roll please...427 BBC ? you don't know if thats a 366 out of a bus or a 454. they would need to show me the casting tag under the alt stamped into the block.

it looks decent, looks like alot of overspray on stuff in the engine compartment, throttle return spring hooked to water neck hose clamp (cobbled)

that and alog with the other comments, its probably a decent truck as long as it runs and drives nice, but not worth that much (IMO)

its a good looking truck from the pic, i have owned a few and its better than most i see on lots, everything that was pointed out wouldnt be that bad if you had the cash to fix things as your went, its by no means perfect. the underside has been recently under coated you can see the over spray on the plug wires and in the pic of the wheel you can see that everything is balck with a little rust showing thru. I would say its really worth around 4000 tops, its a looker but probally going to nickel and dime you after you take it off roading a couple of times.

Welcome

Looks clean, but there are many ways to cover up things now.
