I have his rear 300M shafts with the same flange set up.. Suppppppper nice CNC work and overall finish..

Also have his front drive slugs, same deal.. nice quality.

my D60 came with brand new 30 spline alloy outters. so, rather than upgrade an upgrade before i get it out of the garage, i'm just going to run it until i break one of the outters.

i'm going to get a complete set of D60 shafts w/ 35 spline outters from him sometime after christmas.

im all about saving a buck but the problem i have had along with others is it takes out the spindle alot of times when they break.

thanks for the heads up on that.

i still have 6-10 months before the rig is done. alot can happen in that time, it could very well end up with alloy inners and alloy 35 spline outters by the time it's all over.

My guess is he can broach the 30 spline out to 35 spline if you upgrade.

Flame hardened to what Rc hardness? What material is it and is it flame hardened or another heat treat process? Made right is flame hardening? Not necessarily. There is nothing wrong with flame hardening but it's not the best process. Most spline cutters can cut up into the mid 30's. Some as much as low 40's.
