Default 8.8 axle question?

Hey guys looking at putting a 8.8 axle from a ford explorer in my tj. Is the 8.8 in the v6 explorer the same as the axle in the v8 explorer? Looking at one with 4.10 gears.

Thanks Guys

Wrong... All explorers have 31 spline shafts... The 91-94 just have drum brakes

The v8 explorer has an extra bracket or two welded on it vs the v6 one. Everything else the same.
