my older bro is on a fire department and they had a 1986 dodge with a big block in it and they now want a jeep

When I was on Auburn hills the built a grass rig but never took into count the weight of the water so when they were done building it we could not put water in it or GVW was way over. SO make sure you figure it all in to make sure it is built for what you need..

like has been said.. jeep would not be the best choice.. prepping a jeep frame and drivetrain to handle that water weight is going to kill your budget.. not to mention once equiped it will only carry 2 guys.. i would look for a fullsize truck then outfit that. or pop for some more specialty like a Unimog
