For sale/barter, lincoln continental...l@@k
This is a BEAUTIFUL CAR.... It has 147K Original Miles.(Average around 9K per year). You could eat off the engine and it glides down the highway. Does Not smoke, leak ANYTHING, exc on gas.Shifts perfect. Newer Battery, Grey Leather Interior.. Back Seat and passenger seat like new.. Driver seat shows some wear.Burgandy in color..... The entire Dash is electronic... Good Tires... Electric Moon Roof,... The car has digital entrance If you ever lock yourself out as I have..lol) AM/FM Cassette,/Tilt,/Cruise/PW/PL/P seats/P trunk/Cold air /Climate control/,Auto headlights,/Rear defog,/Heated mirrors,/Dual air bags,Child safety locks windows and doors, BOTH front seats are power and the drivers seat has the lumbar and memory. Also Front Wheel Drive... Being a 6cyl it is great on gas... Has minimul rust around the gas cap and a little over the wheel wells but overall the exterior STILL looks nice when it is waxed...
This car has been well maintained and I would trust it to go cross country....... The ONLY problem is that someone (My fault for leaving it unlocked..LOL) stole the radio... I replaced it with an original 1994 Lincoln AM/FM Cassette.(Why someone wanted a AM/FM radio is beyond me).. Well when they had the dash apart when they re-hooked everything I was happy but several weeks later now on occasion the "Ride Control" or the "Check Engine" lite blinks... Since I go to Detroit several times a week & even though my hubby told me it just needed to be re-set, I wanted to be sure for myself... I took it to a shop and they put it on a scope thing? and it showed NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ENGINE OR THE RIDE CONTROL.....HOWEVER they wanted $175.00 to pull the dash back off and re-set everything and i was not paying that as long as I was sure that everything was/is still fine....
I have included the KBB below and i feel it is between the "Good" & the" Fair" price.I am going in between ($1,700.00, but (CASH IN HANDS SPEAKS VOLUMS..LOL) and will negotiate but won't just give it away so please don't expect me to be an idiot and say yes to lowballs... I am a woman but not a stupid woman...LOL Or at least I like to think i'm not...LOL.. This is a Safe clean car and will always get you where you want to go. Would be great for a student, daily driver etc... I would put my kids in this car to drive AND HAVE NO WORRIES.....Clean/Clear Title in hand....Below is what I am looking for.
#1. A CLEAN DECENT WORK VAN
#2. SUV Type Vehicle (Explorer, Jeep, Ranger or P/U W/Cap etc)
#3. Smaller Car
Your vehicle should be in the range of mines value, however I am not set on EQUAL trade... AS LONG as what you have is Clean, Safe, and in the area of mine... In other words I won't take $800.00 or a $800.00 Vehicle... As I said I am willing to negotiate so let me know what you have and if you have pics, email them to me and I will send you pics of mine......
PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRES..... I am located in Madison Hts (48071 for mapquest).. I am off 696, Between John R & Dequindre off 10 1/2 mile.... I am going to a family function tomorrow (Sat) and will set appts for Sunday as I will be home all day.. I will book in the order of your calls and if you are a no show I will move on to the next person..Not trying to be rude but I am getting ready for surgery and just want to find something a little smaller and being ill, I don't want to wait all day for someone who has no intention of coming...... Thank You for reading my book...LOL Hope to hear from you......... 248-439-1027 I also have pics if you would like to see them, let me know...I can't figure out how to load pics on her but can send them via email....,
Private Party Value
Kelley Blue Book Private Party Value is the amount a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than any remaining factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle's actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes.
1994 Lincoln Continental Signature Sedan 4D
Private Party Value
This value assumes the vehicle has received the cosmetic and/or mechanical reconditioning needed to qualify it as "Excellent". This is not a transaction value; it is representative of a dealer's asking price and the starting point for negotiation.
* Severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition.
* May have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body.
* Branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage.
Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of these vehicles varies greatly. A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value.
Vehicle Condition Ratings
"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.
"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.
Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. Tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.
"Poor" condition means that the vehicle has severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition. The vehicle may have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body. A vehicle with a branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage is considered "poor." A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value. Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of cars in this category varies greatly.
