Do your dirty hippie ass a favor, it isn't a deck, dont stain it. Paint it black so it isnt as obvious how much of a dirt ass you really are.

Do your jeep a favor, lift it, so your jeep can clear the rocks that you spot with your rock lights.

I would enjoy comments on farm equipment I picked up over the years. The commie rack is pro work vs farmers with welders. Cracked engine tubs, broken front axles, farmers have no fear of bogger welds holding major components for years.

I'll GIVE you a motorcycle carrier that goes into a receiver hitch if you let me burn that wood rack?

What he built is professional quality work compared to some of the farmer welding repairs I have seen over the years.

One 66 Oliver Standard had a cracked tub (frame/engine mount, kind of looks like a bath tub). Some Canadian Farmer welded it years ago. The welds looked very much like the scary steering stuff you see on the internet. If the weld failed the tractor broke in 1/2.

I also picked up another tractor that had a 8 pass weld around the front axle.

I'm guessing since this is on farm equipment it wasn't driven on the street, or above 10mph for that matter. Not to mention it wasnt shown off on a public forum for the people to do their best to belittle the idiot who built/fixed then posted it as if it were cool.

Sova, buy the rack from ScOoTeR and use the jungle gym you bought to heat your trailer. It looks like what should be your wife's bike will fit under it fine.

I have $350 into Thule Bars and 2 sets of J cradles. Mine are mounted on the M416, extra storage space, light, and I can pull it behind almost anything.

I won't knock yours though, I would do the same thing.

This Sentence explains exactly why you act the way you do. Why can't you just be nice. Seriously. I don't get what you guys have agianst this. It works. You dont' have to be Douche, you just choose to? Sounds very 3rd grade to me.

I'm sure if Sova had the Proper tools he would make an aluminum or steel one. Maybe if you weren't so caught up in making yourself feel better you could suggest people you know that could help him achieve this. But no, 3rd grade bulling is easier.

He's just trying his best at being an "i'm better than you" internet hardass. Just make fun of his soccer mom jeep with "rock lights" and move on. :)

He was looking for opinions and I gave mine. Then when he didn't like my opinion he retaliated. I'm not one to dissapoint, so I played along.

But dont worry, once I find my house, a proper jeep build will ensue and the wk will be retired to dd/towing/dunes duties. But for now I will have my fun with what is practical and comfortable. I will also put it up against anything that anybody is willing to drive 500 miles, wheel the piss out of it, and drive it home... Maybe I should sell my yakima basket and build a wooden rack to carry my spare tire in. That would work right? Then When I over load it and it comes apart on the freeway and a 2x4 ends up sticking out of the windsheild of the car behind me, it wont be my fault right? It will land on the guy that made the 2x4's and the guy who made the screws right????
