Nope... The commander and grand cherokee have the same wheelbase, and OAL is only 2" different.

The current durango however has a 10" longer wheelbase, is 12" longer overall, and is roughly 1.5" wider.

I think you're looking for the Honda Ridgeline. Dodge had the Ram, Dakota, and D-50 back then for trucks, that was just a high mileage omni-truck that they knew was a nitch vehicle. Its not like Ford had the Ranchero and Chevy the ElCamino...
