Default SOLD!!! Dodge 42RE 4x4 transmission/torque converter - $150

SOLD

I've got a 42RE from a 95+ Dodge Ram with a 3.9L with the torque converter. This was pulled from a wrecked truck with 85k miles on the clock and was said to operate normally when pulled. I bought this sight unseen and had someone pick it up for me after being told it was from a '95 truck with a 318 (thinking it was a 46RH), and it is of no use to me. I don't mind popping the pan off and looking inside for anything out of the ordinary if anyone is interested. I'd be willing to trade this for a similar condition 46RH (A518), or I'll take $275 for it. I've got my own torque converter to use, so if you've got a 46rh tranny without a TC, I'd certainly consider it in a trade. Let me know, Thanks!

My bad.... it's a 42RE instead of a 46RE. Finally took a good look at it as I was loading it in the truck tonight. Fixed the original post!

It will fit. If the truck has a 5.2l or 5.9l engine, this would not be the recomended transmission. If the truck has a 3.9l, this would be the transmission that came in it. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with! Thanks.

I'm looking for a 42re for my 98 Dakota with a 3.9L. Is there any reason yours won't work?

No reason that I'm aware of. This should be the exact same trans.
