Default What locking hubs to get....

I have to replace my locking hubs on my 88 Jimmy and I am not sure what kind are better. Right now I am basically debating between the Mile Marker 104 (seen here) and the Superwinch 400518. (seen here) I would like to know which one of those two is better or perhaps some other hub that is better than those two. I just don't want something that is junk after a year or so. Thanks!

i'd go with the milemarkers. they're cheaper and they have a 9/10th turn to engage which supposedly gives a more positive engagement. i've always run warn standard hubs and while i never wheeled hard enough to break one they held up pretty good for me.

I've been through 1 set of warn regulars & 2 sets of Warn Premium lockouts on my 44. The regulars has a 1/2 turn compared to the premiums that have 3/4 nobs. I got warn regulars on my 60 now and haven't had a problem. If those ever brake I'm gonna stay w/ the warns though. Can't beat lifetime warranty!! Every time i called them they replaced them though!

I have Warn Premiums on the front of my Suburban, they came on it when I bought it 4 years ago and I have never had a problem with them.
