There are only a few mud holes! But many many trails so you will be fine

This weekend would be best described as Mudfest 2010 There were several large mud trucks at the park over the weekend. It seemed that everyone in the park followed them from one mud hole after another. They did keep their playing in the "Big Holes Only", but it was a blast hanging out watching, shooting the bull and even ventured into the mud myself a few times. Ranger Bill even towed his empty tow trailer around from mud hole to mud hole for a little grandstand for everyone to hang out on, after putting on quite a show himself out in the Grade Mud.

Impassable is now named "The Abyss", yes it was caught on camera and will be in the July issue of Rocks and Valleys Magazine along with a lot of other mud mayhem. There were kids big and small doing cannon balls and just generally having a blast in the mud, in and out of their vehicles, even having small family mud fights. It has been a long time since I've seen that much mud flying around.

Of course the heavy rains throughout the week and both nights made for lots of DEEP mud. A HUGE thank you to the guys that came out and put on one hell of a show, thrashing their rigs mercilessly.

See you all soon.

Ron and Ranger Crew, I can't thank you guys enough for your hospitality on Saturday. Our group of 10 HUMMERs had a great time as usual. Every "noob" said they would come back again, and the "vets" are already in for the next run. All I have to do now is find an open weekend and plan it.
