pretty sure the HO is a roller motor and the regular 302 is not

hey there is a difference between an ho and a 302. and the firing order. the ho uses a 351w fire order there shouldnt be any large issue with running the ho but there may be an problem the the injectors, find out what injection sustem u have so the injectors fire at the right time or there going to spray fuel when the intake valve is closed and shes not going to run right

yes, the firing order is different, the HO is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, and the HO is also a sequential injection system, which means the wire harness in your truck also will not work...you can run it as a batch fire system though, using your harness, but you will have to do some research as to which ECM to run, which will also need to control your electronic trans

I'd just keep looking and find an engine that matches the truck

mike, 95 f150 vin N is a MASS AIR system. Therefore it is sequential, not bank fire.
If the injectors are a diffirent color, I.E. not orange, then the injectors are rated diffirently, but you could use your manifold or just swap the injectors.

Your 302 is a roller motor and therefore if you swap in another 302 that is a a roller, you won't have to change the distributor gear. If the firing order is diffirent, you could always just swap cams.
