I'm not sure about the host choices. The "humour" of the UK version is what I love about the show. I think supercars are neat but I like the entertainment of the challenges and epic races. I am not sure those guys will be able to deliver.

It would be cool to see more familiar faces on a test track, but if they try to have an American version of the Stig they will lose points in my book.

I will continue to watch Top Gear on the BBC and will hope that the US version will be good but I won't expect much.

Americans watch Top Gear because it is funny and because of their accent. This will not have the same effect. It might have a chance to be a good show, but not for the same reasons the real Top Gear is good.

Ugh.. An American version will do nothing but suck, I can see it now. Especially with that fat guy. He's annoying. Adam Ferrara might be the only entertaining part of it.

I watch top gear for the humor, the cars are just a bonus. I'll give the new show a chance, but my hopes are not high.

They didn't want to get sued by Toyota for copyright infringement.

With humor like that you should just host the new Top Gear.

I wonder if the Europeans will watch our Top Gear more like how we watch theirs?

I doubt it. They do all sorts of crazy stuff that we can't do in our country because of all the stupid fucking hippy save the earth people. Our Top Gear will have really cool "it get's 64 mpg" episodes. It'll be gay.

I predict the US-version to be like a bad fart. Its gonna make people leave the room.

I love the episodes where they were in South America with a Land Rover, Land Cruiser and a Suzuki. They were given condoms, maxi-pads, Viagra and KY (maybe vasaline). Funny stuff.
