Default **found** 74-79 Wagonner Dana 44 Front Axle

Exactly as the title says. Looking for a front Dana 44 out of a 74-79 Wagoneer (passenger side drop). Flat top knuckles and 3:55 gears would be ideal but not necessary. This axle should have a WMS to WMS distance of about 60.5" and a bolt pattern of 6x5.5.

Let me know what you have.

I have like 4 ALMOST like that.....they are from '79 down Wide track Cherokees or Jtrucks....I think they are 3:54 gear.3:31's were common AFTER '79,but they also changed to driver drop.One is flat top also

I have a matched set, front and rear, 3.31:1 gears, 6 lug, and a set of flat tops I could let go with the set. I also have the original mag rims that were on them.

Drivers drop though (they are '82 axles if I remember correctly)

let me know.

He's putting this in a CJ with a Dana 300, guys (I've talked to him about this directly prior to the listing being made). He needs the axle he asked for, which is passenger drop.

Mine ARE pass drop,just a tad bit wider than he wants,they could be narrowed.
I'd let the one with flat tops go for$100 if that helps.

I'm not making decisions for him and I don't have a 74-79 FSJ NT to offer him, but I know that he does not want his vehicle to get significantly wider and that he does not want to get into the expense and hassle of narrowing axles. He's already going to have to outboard the front springs. Narrowing a FSJ WT front will put the perch under the framerail, but it will also cause it to not match the rear he's considering.

OK, no problem. thx PP.

Drop was not specified,(though implied by the years), so I threw mine out there. :)

I got a D300 flip kit i'd sell

Jeep has been driven regularly during the last couple years just wasn't actively looking to upgrade the front axle. Bought a house last year and then decided to swap in a 360 this past winter. Just put 38.5 TSL's on it and figure the Dana 30 won't last long so i should probably start looking again. Haha
