Default Manual choke

I have a manual choke on my 1978 390 f250. Is there any advantages to this or would I be better off getting rid of it? If I am better off getting rid of it what do I need to do that?

edelbrock sells an electric choke conversion kit, pretty simple

just one source, do some looking and you'll find lots of places sell tehm, and they arent expensive or difficult to install

that carb also seems a bit too big for a stock 390...a 600CFM would be a better choice

The 390 I was told has the following :

390 .030 over flat top forged pistons
2. balanced crank and rods
3. 428 heads ported and polished intake and exhaust ports
4. ported intake to match the gaskets.
5. .512 lift 292 duration comp cam.
6. 750cfm edelbrock carb

Thank you for the info I am really new to all this.
