Sure thing, Spicolli. I'll let you know how it goes.

I actually went out with a guy for a couple hours today. He let me use his Garrett detector. I found $1.12 in change and a broken 14k gold bracelet.

He found a set of keys and some change.

It was fun.

Hombre, how did your walker do in that soft soil. And how does an old guy like you do all that bending over?

Metal detecting is for old creepy guys.

I just park my window-less van nearby, bring my bag of candy with me and start walking around. I figure in a year or so, I'll stop bathing regularly, quit shaving and getting haircuts and then start metal detecting at night outside of apartment complexes and trailer parks. It's the perfect cover for window peeking and flashing the ladies.

I used to have a customer at the dive shop that would fill up a coffee can with gold, coins, jewelery etc, every year... for the last 10 years or so. the man was bat shit crazy, but hes going to retire a very wealthy man.

I also know a girl that leaned out of a car on the side of a back road, to pee on her way home from the bar... and lost her car keys. then found it the next day with a detector lol

Just as long as you have a plan.
